TB Runners - Ladies Run Group
TB Runners is a fun, social and non-competitive running group for Ladies.
The Beginners sessions are aimed at ladies new to running or ladies that are returning to running after a long break. The sessions have a walk/run element to slowly improve fitness over time.
Improver sessions are for ladies that can already comfortably run a minimum of 5K and want to do more. The improver sessions focus on building strength and endurance, mixing up running with interval and strength training.
Biomechanics is the science of body movement, including how muscles, bones, tendons, and ligaments work together. Your body will always try to find the easiest way to get from A-B, which can sometimes mean some muscles over-compensate and other parts 'switch off' and become ‘lazy’, often resulting in in-balances that may lead to aches and pains and restrict movement.
Keeping up with a fitness program is much easier with a committed personal trainer to plan sessions, help guide you to ensure you are performing exercises correctly and of course motivate you!

There is no doubt that the food we eat and physical activity, or lack of it, plays a significant role in both preventing and managing health problems.
You will be asked to complete a food diary for 1-2 weeks and then during a Nutrition Consultation, together we will review your current diet in line with the UK National Guidelines. We will identify if and where there are areas that could be improved. If there are a number of areas that ideally need to be addressed, we will introduce changes in a step by step approach, to enable you to embed these new lifestyle changes – trying to change too much too quickly isn’t realistic or sustainable.
